Jim Furyk - USA

This former US Open Champion from 2003 is currently ranked number 13 in the world, although he has been a long time top ten player. He is 38 years old and turned professional in 1992. He has 21 professional career wins. In addition to his win at the US Open in 2003 he has also finished runner-up twice in 2006 and 2007, behind Tiger Woods and Angel Cabrera respectively. The US Masters has not been his best event but he has played well here, due mainly to his excellent putting. He first played Augusta in 1996 and has been an ever present since. with the exception of 2004 when he was ruled out through injury. His best finish was 4th in 1998 and again in 2003.
