Sergio Garcia
This 29 year old from Spain has already amassed 19 professional golf titles in the ten years since turning professional. He is currently ranked third in the world rankings and is in reasonable form ahead of this years Masters.
Form
Widely regarded as the best of the top ranked players not to have a won a Major Championship. Sergio has been there or thereabouts in Majors regularly and has an excellent record of thirteen top ten finishes, but a winners cheque remains elusive. He was the leading Amateur here in 1999, but since turning professional he has missed the cut four times out of nine, including the last two years. His best finish to date was his Tied 4th, behind Phil Mickelson in 2004. Sergio however has retained his form for the most part of his career and has been a top ten player for several years, he has won a total of 19 professional tournaments. He is currently ranked 3rd in the world and must have a great chance to win this year.

His form over the last 18 months has been very impressive. He had three wins in 2008 in the Players Championship, The Castello Masters and the HSBC Championship. On top of that he enjoyed nine top ten finishes, including tied second behind Padraig Harrington in the PGA Championship. This year so far Sergio has played six tournaments and has made the cut each time, with two top ten finishes.

One of the great players in the world, but his performances at Augusta can only be described as disappointing.
