Tiger Woods

Tiger WoodsAbsolutely no introduction needed to Tiger Woods, the Four Time US Masters Champion returns to Major Tournament competition follwing knee surgery and will be intent on winning his fifth title. This would place him on his own in second place behind Jack Nicklaus for most Masters wins on the US Masters Roll of Honour. Tiger is a modern day phenomenon, probably the greatest sportsman in the world, let along golfer. He has fourteen Major titles to his name and he will surely overhaul Nicklaus's record of eighteen in the not too distant future. His win at the US Open in 2008 after a play off with Rocco Mediate, was simply outrageous, as he played for five days with a fractured leg and was in well concealed immense pain.

He is now back in the hunt and the remaining players will be looking at him as the man to beat. Trevor Immelman of course managed it last year and proved that anything was possible even when Tiger is playing well and breathing down your neck. Tiger's second place in 2008 emulated his performance in 2006, he will not want to be runner up again. He will start as a massive favourite in the US Masters Betting Options and will be difficult for anyone to oppose him. His record at the Augusta National Golf Club reads:
